Sleepeezee Pocket Star 1200 mattress
I spend a lot of time testing mattresses. I’ve got a list of features I look for and I know what I like or dislike about my bed. But no two people are the same, so my opinion is largely irrelevant.
With this in mind, I decided to go right to the source and ask some prospective customers what they wanted from a new mattress. The results were…interesting:
- My new mattress should be soft, and shouldn’t suck me into it.
- It needs to hold its shape. And they’re expensive, so I expect my mattress to hold its shape for at least 5 years.
- I don’t know the difference between pocket springs and open coil springs. All I know is that I can’t have my partner bouncing me out of the bed all night long.
- I live alone so ideally I’d want a no-turn mattress.
- It’s hard to explain. I don’t want my bed to be rock hard, but I need it to support me.
Why the results were interesting is a problem for bed sellers. We want to tell people about a mattresses air vents, double side-stitching, hypo-allergenic fillings and advanced spring systems, but in most cases, people just want a good night’s sleep.
Which brings me to the Sleepeezee Pocket Star 1200. I realize the answers 5 people gave me don’t exactly typify the nation, but there is a large group of people who simply want to sleep on something…simple. And affordable. At under £300 for a 4FT6, the Pocket Star 1200 mattress is ideal.
Oh, and I can’t not give you details, so here you go:
- Medium tension.
- Pocket sprung (so you don’t bounce your partner out of bed).
- No turn.
- And because it’s made by Sleepeezee, the Pocket Star 1200 is built to last for years to come.
The perfect all-round mattress then? I think so.
